Kevin W. Marketon, 54, died Friday, June 19, 2015 at McCall Open Arms Hospice House in Simponsville, SC.

Born May 19, 1961 in Norfolk, VA, Kevin was the son of Reuben and Irma (Olich) Marketon of Oak Harbor, WA. He was a graduate of Central Washington University, Ellensburg, Washington and Webster University, Columbia, South Carolina. 

Kevin was a military veteran that served his country proudly as a commissioned ordnance officer. In 1991 while stationed in Germany he was redeployed to serve in the Gulf War. He was retired from the U.S. Army Reserve. 

Kevin is survived by his wife Doris Marketon of Piedmont, SC; his stepdaughter Nichol Huntington, her husband Jason and their three daughters, Shiloh, Jaiden and Kaylee of Ft. Knox, KY and his mother Irma of the family home in Oak Harbor, Washington. Kevin was preceded in death by his father Reuben. 

A memorial service to honor the life of Kevin will be conducted at a later date in Oak Harbor.
