Join the Navy and see the world. Never has a slogan been more true. Joined the Navy after graduation and traveled all over the world and was lucky to find my bride near San Diego at a Square Dance (thanks Hal Ramaly for the lessons and Cheryl Connors for encouraging me to attend). Other travel highlights included, Okinawa, Diego Garcia BIOT, Iceland, Italy, Newfoundland Canada. After 20 years of service (the first 7 years flying in patrol aircraft) then moving on to fixing broken electronics we settled in central Pennsylvania after finding a lovely stone house that was built in the 1840's. Currently am employed by the Governor of Pennsylvania repairing, installing, and moving computers for Pennsylvania state government. |
