When I flew out of America in January 1979 I knew I'd be (OH) homesick and I was. Life sped up when I returned to Australia. I went to college, trained as a primary school teacher and met my husband there in my final year. He was studying business. We married in December '82 and lived in Sydney. I continued to work, Mel had some time off- he wasn't well for a while. 3 children later and we had established our home south of Sydney in Thirroul, near the beach. Mel set up an Accountancy practice and we have been here ever since. We had a visit from Dave and Connie (Bowen) in 1995 which was a thrill for me. My new family met my American family. I returned in 1999. I saw some of you guys then and loved that. Our boys are at Uni and our daughter in Yr 10 at High School.We enjoy sailing and have seen some wonderful places. We're going to Turkey in July. Australia is such a long way from anywhere as you know but we fly then sail. God is gracious.
